For some days the association of Sassari libertaria@libertaria.info is collecting signatures in support of an open letter to be delivered in the coming days to the Rector of the University of Sassari.

We the undersigned citizens of Sassari we appeal to you as a representative of the greatest cultural institution in this city, as an intellectual, as a citizen, to ask her not to give its assent to the proposal that Colonel Muammar Gaddafi honorary degree in law.
The University of Sassari does not deserve the violence of a choice that would isolate the assembly from academia and civil in this country. (more ...)
